Great holiday gift idea!!

Post by ZiggyZoomba »

Many of you will remember my friend and BGSU grad (and current BGSU grad student) Andrew Hemminger and the book he and his friend Dave did last year where they traveled cross-country to meet the best college basketball coaches in America and interview them. Destination Basketball was a great read and I know a lot of Falcon picked up a copy or 10.

Anyhow, Andrew has taken everything he learned from that experience and turned around to do it again, only this time with 15 of the best football coaches in America.

"College Football's Best" is his latest effort, and it's another great read!!

It's 214 pages, hardcover, $20, has positive and uplifting articles and stories with 15 coaches. And, a dollar from each purchase goes to The V Foundation, which, as you know, is near and dear to MY heart.

Here's a list of the coaches he got involved:

Frank Beamer (Virginia Tech)
Bobby Bowden (Florida State)
Mack Brown (Texas)
Lloyd Carr (r-Michigan)
Pete Carroll (USC)
Phillip Fulmer (r-Tennessee)
Lou Holtz (r-Notre Dame)
Urban Meyer (Florida)
Les Miles (LSU)
Tom Osborne (r-Nebraska)
Nick Saban (Alabama)
Steve Spurrier (S. Carolina)
Bob Stoops (Oklahoma)
Jim Tressel (Ohio State)
Ron Zook (Illinois)

You can order on Amazon.com or directly from his http://www.collegefootballsbest.com website. If you order from his site, your copy will be signed before being sent out.

Check it out and buy a dozen or so for friends and family!!

Is Andrew still living in Northwest Ohio? I would like to purchase both books and have them signed if possible.

Actually, yes! He lives in Elmore now and is attending grad school at BGSU.

If you purchase through his websites (www.destinationbasketball.com and www.collegefootballsbest.com) and enter in the comment that you're from ay-ziggy-zoomba.com he'll sign them for you before sending them out!!

Already got them in the mail. I purchased Destination basketball for my 7yo son, who was the only person at the Jim Basketball Jones to make his free throws and get a free autographed ball, and College Footballs
Best for my 11 yo son. They shipped almost instantly, who would'a thunk something could move that quick through the postal system from Elmore to Oak Harbor. Thanks for the gift ideas and go falcons!

Merry Christmas!
