That is a damn shame.
Not so sure. A current college coach, especially coming from a big conference will have recruiting data of use.
What I'm looking at is basically if the coaches rallying to Clawson are the kind that look to move up themselves. Is there a feeling that these guys are scrapping for the gig because they think this guy will move fast, dare I say, Urbanesque. That to me would be an encouraging sign.

Maybe....Brandon wasn't fired but was traded to UVA for a coach to be named later.

From Cincy to Marshall, talk about a decent Dante would appreciate. Of course, if he winds up in BG I reserve the right to totally pretend I didn't say that.

I am glad Minter did not get the BG job, I played against his teams at Cincy, they were vert undisciplined, and alot of rogue players. Similar to what Huggins had at Cincy.

My padre is a Cincy alum and was close to the program during Minter's era. Here's what he had to say about him in an email:

That would be great for both parties. I always admired the way under his coaching there were absolutely no NCAA violations and a healthy graduation rate. I hope you get him - he would do a great job for BG.
Seems a lot like what we looked for in a head coach ... I like a coordinator of similar qualities. He has always been part of clean programs.

From Footballscoop.com
There is no Shannon Marshall on the Marshall staff but there is a John Shannon and a Shannon Morrison. Shannon Morrison was DC at Lehigh(same league as Richmond) prior to coming to Marshall. John Shannon was OC at Toledo from 2005-2007 and is a native of Bowling Green...Kentucky.
