If they used Super Soakers, would the outcome have been different?

I don't think that was stupid. I was stating a fact of clarification about what Ryan said, not supporting what happened. Don't get your britches in a bundle!

I took this from the article you posted:

With that, Judge Kelsey sentenced Barrow to four years in prison for each charge of burglary and robbery, with the sentences to be served concurrently.

So yeah, whether items were taken or not, this still constitutes as robbery.

Robbery is taking items from another person by force or intimidation. Though they did not obtain anything they used these things as that goal.

I call it bad writing. The news just clearly stated breaking in and demanding weed. Nothing about robbery. :D

No kidding. The fact Barrow is not a football player at BGSU anymore doesn't bother me. The team can move on. But I hate the fact that students had to leave BG because of such painful experience. All people should look back on their time at BGSU happily...so that's the thing that sucks the most out of this.
