With regards to my post in another thread about being ashamed of our fans, let me assure you that I am not. I was simply trying to rile everyone in here. It's up to you old-timers (sorry...) and new young die-hards (like me!) to bring our traditions back to the Ice Arena.
So, I propose that we start tonight! Here's what I think everyone should do:
1. Don't sit in your usual seats. Go sit near the student section or in the general admission section.
2. Don't be afraid to be a cheerleader. How else is this gonna get started? You may get a few strange looks at first, but people will catch on.
3. Talk to the poeple around you. Teach them the chants that we used to do. They are a bit complicated, and it may take people a while to learn them, but be persistent!
After being at Yost last night, I am pissed. I REALLY want to return the favor those bastards in blue, and we need to do it TONIGHT!!!!
And Lyons, you will be sitting with me and teaching me the chants. I'm not screwing around anymore...

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan
