Mruczkowski to play in the East-West Shrine Game

Post by BGSU33 »

I'm not sure if this was mentioned here yet, but it looks like Scott Mruczkowski will be playing in the East-West Shrine Game in San Francisco, Calif. on Jan. 15th.

Here is a link to the rosters and Scott is indeed playing. FWIW, the East roster looks a little short right now and they must be trying to find guys to play yet.

Since that E. roster DOES indeed appear a bit light, I'd like to see 2 deserving BG seniors get selected. Cole Magner would be a great pick for the W.Coast game...who knows, maybe half of Palmer, Alaska would come to see him play.

But the player I feel is most deserving of selection is Keon Newson...he's had another outstanding season in what has been a most productive career. Both these young men deserve consideration and both play positions that seem to be "undermanned" at the present time for the E. Roster.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
