Three to four guys have come in for a final interview and none of them are Coach Brandon.
1) Terry Hoeppner
2) Tim Murphy
3) Bob Elliot
4) Rick Neuheisel
Apparently Frank Solich turned down the IU job before becoming the coach of Ohio.

Not to mention he just got fired from a job where he did well, but didn't live up to expectations. Not that Indiana football has much in the way of expectations, but they've also fired a couple of coaches that have done a decent job (DiNardo especially... that team wasn't that far out of bowl eligibility), but the administration decided they wanted a change. I can't think off the top of my head, but OU seems to be a little more patient with its coaches. As bad as Indiana football may have been of late, you better go in there and get a bowl game soon, or you're back on the unemployment line. He probably took the OU job as an opportunity to work with a program that has shown *some* promise over the last decade, and doesn't have nearly the expectations to get to 8 or 9 wins and keep it there.
