Allen Trieu one of lead Scout.com midwestern analysts had this to say about BG commit Marcus Bearum on breaking down the top players in Michigan:
Marcus Beaurem :: Beaurem has outstanding speed and hands. He is not the biggest guy, but he can separate and shows the ability to make tough catches in traffic. He is an ideal slot receiver and I think Bowling Green really stole one here

Re: Marcus Bearum
Bearum had a very nice camp at Michigan and was actually discussed by their coaches for a possible late offer per UM's Scout site.
They have two slot commits already and obviously Bearum had other options on the table and wanted to commit early.
Its a great year for Coach Clawson and the staff as Ohio and Michigan are both having above average talent years at the high school level.
2010 for Ohio is strong, but 2011 could be insane on the top-end talent however.
