If we start the season 4-0, I'm grilling Lobster for our tailgate on 10/3.
Midweek game, does it help, hurt or not affect attendance?

Whoever likes football, particularly BG football will go, and the others will either go to class or skip class and go to the bars to get hammered. You'll see a heavy Freshmen contingent since I'm sure many RA's are advocating that they go, the other classes are a toss up. The whole 10,052 student thing is kinda stupid since it's obvious that record was set due to Gameday being present and the team's ranking and matchup that day.
I'll be there, my first game as an alum, but my dad has to work so I think the hang up will be with people who either work a late shift or who get off late. I think 12,000 - 14,000 should be seen as an excellent crowd, I'm hoping to be surprised though.

The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
