TV BSU GAME

Post by 60yearsofsicsic »

Hey all! Living in NC I can't watch many games but I always listen. I would love to watch the Boise Game live... and I went to the B2 Network and it doesnt look like they are carrying it. Says the next game is the OU game. Just curious if anyone knew how I could watch.

Thanks

I believe I read somewhere that it'll be on ESPN360.com.

Yes, it will be on ESPN360.com. Which, if you get internet from Verizon, AT&T or Comcast, is free. I think there are a few other service providers who bought into it and offer it free on their services as well, but I don't know for sure. BG will have a few other games on there this year (and most likely every year for a few years to come.) It's probably the best streaming sports video service out there, as the picture and sound are usually really good with very little breaking up or choppiness.

B2 networks is only carrying the Troy game (which obviously already passed) and the OU game this year. Their contract is for any home games which aren't already being nationally broadcast.

Is it not on ESPN Gameplan? Sometimes, ESPN picks up our locally produced broadcast and throws it up on Gameplan. Being that we have the local production, I don't pay attention, so I don't know if ESPN is picking it up or not.

The football game with Boise State will be on ESPN360.com, B2 Networks (it wasn't posted last I saw earlier this afternoon but it will be soon), BCSN, and from my understanding ESPN Gameplan (but don't quote me on the ESPN Gameplan piece just yet -- we've gone back and forth with this about a million times in the last month). The ESPN360.com and ESPN Gameplan feed will come directly from Boise State's television station (which will be in the house Saturday) and the B2 Network feed will come directly from the BCSN feed (which will also be in the house). It's a busy day Saturday!

I am going to hope that channelsurfing.net will pick this game up.

Any word on whether B2 will have improved their feed from the Troy game?

I'm honestly surprised they haven't offered a credit for those of us that purchased the Troy game and experienced Greg Franke's play-by-play of a slide show. I'll be at the Boise game but had hoped to watch the remaining games B2 offered but I will not purchase another game unless I am guaranteed that the video is improved. Offering an apology and a "comp" for the next game to earn my business back would be a good move on BGSU's and B2's part.

If no I'll probably see about getting the BCSN monthly pass or buying from All-MACces rather than from BGSU/B2 feed.

I know a couple of years ago All-MACcess had similar issues as we did during the Troy game and they comped us our next purchase.

Ya, I understand that KTVB CH 7 in Boise is going to produce the game from Ohio. They do a decent job, so it won't be real bad. They were complaining last night on the late news that they were informed they had to sit out side as the press box was being remodeled . and its going to rain, they both figured they would be struck by lightning and never get home. ha ha

ESPN 360 usually works really well up here. I'll probably go that route.

Reading the ST online, the latest story says the BG Boise game has been added to the ESPN Gameplan.

Your game is on ESPN Gameplan. It's on channel 792 on DirecTV. I'm not sure about the other satellite feed or the cable channels.

However, if you really want to watch a good game to warm up for yours..........tune in to DirecTV channel 788 at noon Eastern time and watch the Cincinnati Bearcats versus the Fresno State Bulldogs. It will be a good tailgate warmup for you.

I love Ohio football..........all of it. My brothers and I graduated from Cuyahoga Heights High School which just went to a 5-0 record tonight on FSNOH. They've scored 197 points vs. 10. That's a pretty decent start for a school with 41 players on the team! In spite of the fact that two of my brothers attended BGSU, I forgive them.

Good luck to the Falcons.........I think you have your job cut out for you.......but I hope you kick their butts.

Did anyone get the B2 video feed for the Boise State game?

I was at the game but won't be this weekend and want to know if it is worth getting the B2 feed for the Ohio U. game or not.

As I mentioned earlier in this thread they have some issues to work out before I commit to buying any more games from them.

I went to the B2 page at kickoff and it said there were "technical difficulties, please stand by" or something to that effect.

From what I hear, the MAC video took the BCSN feed, but I don't know about quality.
