Sweet, the Broncos can hand NDs new head coach his second or third loss and get the calls for his firing started mid-way through his first season!

I'm sure much of the talk is just fun bashing of the hated Irish, but 2010 would be the one year I wouldn't want to see my team play Notre Dame!

If Claussen returns, they'll be very very good on offense. Considering Western gave up 50something to Michigan this season, I don't want to imagine what they'd give up to ND next season...

Yep...Western will be wroking a new QB into the system too. Sounds like a potential ass kicking from the fat man
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

That is what I was going for. I would be shocked if Western beat Notre Dame. I don't know why Western was picked for this game but I am sure ND wasn't going to go out and try and find the best MAC team going into next year to play. They are looking for a victory. And an easy one at that.

I will also be shocked if Claussen stays in school. There is talk now that he could be the first QB taken in the draft with Bradford's injury. Plus, with no one as a clear Heisman favorite, if he continues to play well and ND doesn't lose again, which is possible, he could at the very least be a Heisman finalist. If that happens and he could be taken in the top-10 of the draft, why would he stay? I think some of these underclass QBs are going to look at Bradford's situation and get out while they are hot.

Western only gave up 31 to a Michigan offense that has had a pretty easy time scoring this year. Granted they called off the dogs and rotated three QBs, but still.
