Tyler has been sacked 23 times which is 4th most in FBS.

Unfortunately, it's often due to his inability to count quickly in his head and know when it's time to either get rid of the ball or run.

Yeah - A lot of sacks this year have come while Sheehan is staring Barnes down waiting for him to come open. Going through progressions is definitely the weak spot in our QB play right now.

Line isn't great, but Tyler hasn't been doing them any favors.

And when the opposing dline can get pressure on your QB rushing four, they can drop seven into coverage. Since we tend to work the short and intermediate zones, our WR's have to work in heavy traffic and that means it's gonna take them awhile to get open.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

He has shown that he can get some yards on the ground when he needs to. I'm really ok with him taking off if he has no one open and can get a good chunk of yardage. And I'll always take a short gain on the ground over a negative yardage sack.
