At least they haven't pulled the Akron game yet, but I'm sure they're working on it.

I would pray to the dear lord that if the BG-Akron game was pulled from tv, that we would move the game to Saturday or at the very least make it a 7:30 or 8pm start. For crying out loud, last year's game against Buffalo was a disaster. The start time was too early for anybody to make it there on time, it was cold as hell, and we were playing an opponent that doesn't draw, ever. We had maybe 5,000 actual butts in seats.

That of course doesn't even take into account the fact that last year's Buffalo game also featured one of the biggest choke jobs in BGSU history, the players' and coaches' subsequent dissing of the band, and coach Brandon's calling out the fans in the postgame press conference. (BTW, GC must have sh*t his pants watching that) Now obviously the athletic department didn't have any control over what happened on the field, but we were already on very shaky ground with that awful day & start time.

If the Miami game is not on TV, that sucks. I have parent-teaher conferences and I was going to try and pull the game off the internet and put it up on my SmartBoard....guess I'll just have to settle for the radio cast and game tracker.

And the Akron game time sucks as well. I'm a teacher and it's going to be tough to make it much before the game. My sister is doing student teaching in Findlay and is in the marching band, and she will probably miss pre-game for the first time in 5 years.
