Clawson said he "lives in the MAC world" when asked if he would be watching the Ohio State-Michigan game on Saturday.
"What happens in the Big Ten doesn't affect us at all. So I don't worry about it," Clawson said. "When you say the big game, I'm thinking the Toledo game against Eastern (Michigan) or the Ohio-Northern Illinois game. Those are the only big games I know about after our game."
Although there is that little matter of the Temple-Kent game that has a slight bearing on our season.
When I was watching that press conference, I started applauding at that point. Clawson is awesome.
I remember back in 2007 the folks at BG24 news were asking people in the union the day before the OSU/Mich game who they were picking for the big game and what we were doing to watch it. They interviewed me and I said I am going over to Buffalo early morning for the big game and am picking BG to win by multiple possessions. When they specified the OSU/Mich game, I said I don't care - the big game this weekend is critical in the MAC East race and I'm going to support my team.

You may all now return to your daily lives.
At our school, the students wear uniforms. This Friday, if you donate to the United Way, you get a wrist band that allows students and staff to "dress down" wearing osu/um clothes. Guess what I always wear on that day? BROWN AND ORANGE!!!! And with BG hockey playing the weasels this weekend, it seems all the more appropriate to wear the Falcon colors on Friday!!!!!
GO BROWN! GO ORANGE!
GO FALCONS!!
ZAP THE ZIPS!!
WALLOP THE WEASELS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second." ~~USCHO Poster "BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got." ~~USCHO Poster, AFTER Tech beat us #NeverGiveUp

One of my favorite moments was when I was on the bus after being Freddie for the BG/Miami game 2 years ago and got a call from my mom. She said, "Did you watch the game?" My response, "Mom, I was there. I was Freddie."
Turns out she meant the OSU/UM game. I had actually been completely unaware that it was happening. Great moment.
