CPH213, yes it would have been good to go bowling last year but I believe that the main reason BG didnt get a bowl invite last year was based on the fact that we fired coach brandon before the bowl selection. Say BG was a BCS school, I think that the Falcons may have still been selected to go. That is why I stated that ND does not deserve to go. Bias has nothing to do with anything, its all about the fairness of the game, which in the FBS does not exist anyway! I may be wrong in my above statement but until I am proven wrong that is my opinion.

I don't like it either but from a personal standpoint, that's better than Humanitarian Bowl. I want to make it out to Boise if that's where BG is going, but that would be a tough trip. Detroit is a hop skip and jump up the road.

Nearly as bad as Mandel, CFN has us playing Temple in the Pizza Bowl. At least that wouldn't be a matchup of teams that played already this year.

EDIT: ESPN.com's Graham Watson reports Idaho is definitely in the Humanitarian Bowl, which probably eliminates NIU from a rematch there.
