Not sure why I am posting, but you can vote for the three finalist on espn. As you would expect, Freddie is a distant third.

You know 95% of these posters have not seen Freddie play, but yet think he is not deserving.

I do not know why i let myself get frustrated with these things. Oh well

I love the comments below the poll. No one talks about the numbers he has put up, but Tate is man or Ginyard and the kid from Mizzou got screwed for not being a finalist. I know it will be, but he is a MAC player and that is why he won't win. He put up those numbers often drawing triple coverage from defenses in the MAC. Few receivers could find the open space to get 138 catches. I hope sportswriters are smarter than most fans.

You can't let this stuff bother you. I'm thrilled to have had Freddie in Brown & Orange for four years. What an asset to the team and the university.

Just being a finalist is a testament to his work ethic and abilities.

i like the description next to Barnes' picture.
Freddie Barnes: Barnes has been the cornerstone of Bowling Green's offense, as his 129 receptions, 1482 yards and 14 touchdowns all lead the MAC conference. Against Kent State and Ball State, Barnes was a touchdown machine, scoring three times in each contest. Kent State felt the brunt of his air assault, as Barnes hauled in an astounding 278 yards in the air.
The MAC Conference FTW.

Exactly.

I have continued to be amazed at the combination of the staff's creative use of Barnes, and his own ability this season. No reasonable person would ever expect him to be able to consistently get open when every team we played was keying on him every play. Yet there he was, running free in the secondary over and over again.

I've never seen a WR on one of my favorite teams put together a year like Freddie's. It's been remarkable to watch. Whether it ends with some hardware or not is irrelevant. We all know he's been the most dominant WR in DIA this year, and that's all that matters.
