That is somewhat surprising.
I was about 99% sure that he had no shot to make the actual roster there, so I think I'm happy for him that he got cut. He will have a better opportunity on some other NFL team to make the roster. I am surprised by the move though because most teams take an extra kicker into training camp to spread the duties around in practice. I thought that was to be Shaun's role...I imagine they'll sign another kicker now.
