Late, mediocre photos from GMAC Bowl

Post by 1987alum »

Like I said, the ol' disposable didn't do so well in Mobile. Nonetheless, here are some photos from our GMAC excursion: http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/gallery/gmacbowl

87,
I had a similar problem with my disposable in terms of sharp pix etc....I think the rain truly wreaked havoc on those inexpensive little buggers, from which I usually get good pix...to boot, the developer machine screwed up and I got a batch of pix that were "cut in half" so to speak, with half of one pic on one side, and half of another on the other side. Supposedly, they're going to try to remedy and fix the machine and rerun the prints, but I won't bet on anything...Did get some decent shots of Ed and Michelle, Joyce and me with Pres. Ribeau in the pregame party tent, but we'll have to wait and see on the rest.

BTW, I am an idiot - pause for everyone to insert their own punchline - I forgot to upload the most important picture of all  Noah & I holding our "Thanks Mom" sign.

I have uploaded some pictures also. I have some more to upload in the next few days.

btw, still working on the GMAC DVD. I will post a sticky on details when I am done.

If anyone has any video they would like to contribute , let me know. Looking for some local coverage or other video. Trying to keep it at 2 discs, but without going to Dual Layer discs (which are expensive & somewhat flaky in some DVD players), it may be difficult.

here is what I have so far.

41 second clip from College Gameday on the GMAC Bowl
FSN GMAC Preview show
Some home video of Parade, Pep-Rally & Pre & Post Game
Entire GMAC Bowl Game w/halftime (ESPN)
12 minutes of updates/highlights from ESPN News
Post-Game Extra interview of Coach Brandon (ESPN News)
30 second SportCenter clip
Some radio highlights (audio)
Digital Picture slideshow (if I have space)

details will be posted soon if you are interested.

I have wanted to check out the game since the minute I returned home, but all those extra goodies definitely sound like they are worth waiting for!!!!!!!

Digital video of Parade

Post by Class of 61 »

Mitch,
I don't know HOW to do it, but I've got some pretty neat video of the FMB and the parade floats etc. off my digital camera, which has a video option.
If you'd like this stuff, you're more than welcome to it; it's just, as I said, beyond my feeble computer knowledge to send it through.
