why did i pay for espn magazine?

The most recent issue of ESPN magazine predicts Temple, NIU, OU, and Miami to finish 1 - 4 respectively.

Now, I can understand the first 3. At least there is some logic there. However, where does this miami prediction come from?

If they are going to throw darts at a board, why even bother.

The predictions for the MAC are from a player poll. They asked the players who the teams to beat are for the coming year. It isn't the magazine people predicting. They didn't even bother to do that this year.

I think when you look up the definition of fan (short for fanatic), it should say, "someone who assesses the value of a sports magazine subscription by where they rank their favorite teams."

I have reread my post several times, and have still failed to identify the section where I voiced an opinion about where BG should be ranked.

I buy Phil Steele's every year and only his. He's picked BG tied for 5th this season with Miami and Akron. Would be great to prove him wrong again this year. He picked us 5th in the East last year so that's a good omen. lol
