Great for Shaun, but...ugh.

Guess this will give Reed more time to work on his photography...

Come on TG, you know you like the Steelers  . For some reason one of my sisters has a Jeff Reed jersey. Besides his photography he has more time to drink and destroy paper towel dispensers.

I was trying to work a towel dispenser joke in, but thought I would keep it simple and go with his self-portrait resume instead.

I was about to say the North Shore just got a lot safer with Reed gone, but there are an awful lot of glass storefronts...

From the Sentinel Tribune:

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers have cut Jeff Reed, who began the season as one of the 10 most accurate kickers in NFL history but has been erratic all season.
Reed, the Steelers' kicker since the middle of the 2002 season, will be replaced by former Redskins and Cowboys kicker Shaun Suisham. He was worked out by the Steelers on Tuesday at Heinz Field, where Reed missed a 26-yarder against the Patriots on Sunday. Suisham played his college football at Bowling Green.

Reed missed seven of 22 attempts this season, including all four of his attempts between the 40- and 49-yard lines. He had only eight misses combined in 62 attempts during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.

Reed ranks 12th in NFL history with an 81.9 percent accuracy rate (204 of 249).

Does Shaun still have that very attractive girlfriend/wife??? That would also be a nice added bonus to the Steelers. If so just keep her out of the locker room if they ever play the Jets

Great Radio!

I like WLW. I listen to that station more than any station in Indy. Plus it comes in better that most of the stations in Indy. The afternoon guy is a BG alum (Scott Sloan). About 12 years ago, I was tailgating for a Steelers - Bengals game at a bar on Pete Rose way and Andy Furman was broadcasting, of course bashing Steeler fans, but he was pretty cool off the air.
