Concerning the offensive line there seems to be a issue that is not being stated. It is true that the offensive line struggles...that happens when you have only one fifth year senior on the line. The other range from freshmen to junior. Tyler Donahue is the fifth year senior and the reason is he is the only one is that he was the ONLY offensive lineman taken in his recruiting class...how that can happen is beyond me.
Sometimes the problem is not the line, but the quarterback who does not move up into the pocket. I teach my offensive linemen to take their man as far out and back as possible...that requires the quarterback to move up into the pocket and many times this season that did not happen.
Hopefully that will be addressed next year and I hope that the linemen will improve for the 2011 season. Let's not forget that if this team would have won the close ones we would be bowl eligible now. As I have learned over 19 years of coaching, sometimes that is just the way the season goes.

Gotta say, I think it was all about the line this year. BG probably left entire sections of the playbook unopened because of inconsistent line play. If the O Line can stabilize and improve, I believe we will see a much different team on the field in 2011.
