AD Christopher stepping down May 1

Post by gmartin »

I have an inside source down here in Indianapolis saying that AD Christopher will be leaving BGSU on May 1 to accept a position once again back at Purdue. I wonder if he has already butted heads with the new president? Maybe the Joe Sharp incident ruffled too many feathers? I have heard that he also is accepting a position within the new Big 10 hockey conference. Maybe he is going to try and get Purdue to start a hockey program. Some of you will be sad to see him leave others may be doing cartwheels. I will add more to this story in a few hours when I have more details. What are your thoughts???

I thought about that too, but was too excited to care............but, the senior associate AD at Purdue has been there since 1971, so I would think he might be thinking about retiring.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

I know there are certainly a lot of people that are hoping you aren't joking here....that would really ruin my day. My gut is that this is fake.

Nice try, but I'm guessing Mr. Astley awaits in that link.

That's just great. He brings in one of the worst football coach's in BG history and he leaves, take Claswson with you. We can hire a football coach, a equipment manager, and AD all in one. marll, flipper, and of course birdman have come to mind. Markl gets my vote. He's in grad school.
