I'm to sexy
I'm to sexy
Boys, again this is a football thread not a place to talk about how cool the falcons Look. I know most of you would rather talk fashion and strut your stuff down the cat walk and football is a after thought. It easy to understand why you would rather talk fashion than a mans game like football. Try to leave the cross dressing out and that we don't care if you dress up like little boo peep.

Man, I love phpBB3. All I see of Birdman anymore is the following statement: "This post was made by birdman who is currently on your ignore list. Display this post." I have no idea of what he said. For all I know, maybe he posted some complicated formula describing proton velocities and vectors derived from that super cool lab in Europe. Or maybe he posted some wisdom which is going to forever alter the philosophy of the current generation. I'll never know. But I'd wager a good sum of money that he just posted more of his normal nonsense, and I don't have to waste my time reading it.

Hope this helps.
How to calculate the speed of a proton that is accelerated from rest through a potential difference of 142 V.
a proton will gain 142 electron-volts of kinetic energy, which works out to 1.602×10^-19 J * 142 = 2.275×10^-17 J.
Then, we know K. E. = mv^2 / 2, so v^2 = 2*K.E./m. The mass of a proton is 1.673×10^-27 kg, giving us the figure v^2 = 2.720×10^-10. Taking the square root gives v = 164900 m/s. Since 142 has only 3 significant digits, we round our answer to 165000 m/s. Since this is so much less than the speed of light, relativistic effects can be ignored.
You do a similar calculation for the electron, only use m = 9.109×10^-31 kg above. The speed is about 2.3% of the speed of light, so relativistic effects are not yet so significant.

89alum: How about a way to score touchdowns. About these numbers 2-10= 1-6 115 Those are numbers everyone who is a college football fan can relate to. Go back to your protractor and leave the playbook to someone who has played the game. Good luck with finals Truly Birdman
