I almost hit a dog this morning...and when I swerved I almost hit a mailbox. I almost blamed Gregg Brandon.

s blame him for having an incentive clause in his contract that was attendance driven and we have a crowd like we had for the Buffalo game. Let's blame him for our field goal kicker missing a chip shot when we were up 27-10 in that game as well. Let's blame him for that rediculous unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against one of our DB's for a blow to the head on a 3rd and 15 with 10 minutes to go in the game and us leading 27-10.
You don't have to remind me. I was there. So was my now-wife who drove up from Tennessee to come to the game. And because of that fact, I remember what the weather was like at that game, and the start time, and don't blame anybody for not being there. Or for leaving a little early, especially as it got colder and BG started falling apart. I do however, blame Gregg Brandon for coming out in his press conference and acting like the small crowd was the reason the team lost the game.

But for what it's worth, that's water under the bridge now as far as I'm concerned. I supported moving on from Brandon and I still do. It was time. And if Clawson doesn't show some turn around from last year I may support moving on from him too. And remember, as a Tennessee fan as well, I've had one more year of Clawson than the average BG fan. Right now, I like him, but as far as his performance with my teams, the jury is out.

Also, I'm running late on getting some errands done. Definitely Gregg Brandon's fault.

Have I blamed Brandon for being one of the 5 lowest paid division 1 football coaches while he was here at BG? Darn why didn't I think of that sooner. Probably why he was upset about the crowd ---considering an "average" crowd could have moved him closer to being paid like the Louisiana-Monroe head football coach. I also blame Brandon for Clawson being the offensive coordinator at Tennessee when they lost to Wyoming as a 28 point favorite 13-7--at home. Brandon --you $%^&%^
