RICE used to be the mantra for dealing with soft tissue injuries (rest, ice, compression, elevation). Now that I'm about to turn fitty, I prefer the BIT protocol (Beer, Ice, Tylenol)
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Afraid to ask what that is..... 8-[
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Last year I was just getting into training and did 14-15 at 225 and inclined 315 for a couple....and that was 8 months after a distal bicep tear. If I can stay healthy, I think...who am I kidding...I'm not gonna stay healthy...

Maynard's from the Columbus area IIRC....I wonder if he's been working at Westside Barbell...if not, I imagine Louie Simmons would love to work with him... :)
He trained for 2 years with Jeff Sydes, who has worked with NFL and several D1 schools, including OSU.

He then trained with Ryan Kunk out of Powell, Ohio, who preps kids for D1 and works with several D1 and current NFL players. The kid has had some great training and has power yet to be developed.

He will surprise many this year.
