After reading that article, I am very excited about this season (as if I wasn't already). To all of those people that felt Clawson was underachieving, I hope they read that article to understand the reason for his actions. We are now poised to make a comeback and be a consistent, strong team. Winners are the teams that have the talent and depth to keep coming back and doing it year after year. Clawson has constructed our team to have that ability, and I look forward to the next few years.

To bad the games are played on the field instead of on paper. Don't kid yourself this team is a three win team at best. Morgan state is no walk over. Write this season off. To win games you need a coach ( know any ? ). I see the only one that interviewed the BG reps where from BG. It's starting to get real ugly. Since Utah entered the pack 12 and will run it up on BG just like last year. It will be over.. sorry save your money on season tickets, they will be giving them away. He said he never felt better? How do you feel after a 10 loss season?

And this article is yet another reason I'm excited about this season! Lots of returners, solid depth, young team returning that played at moments way beyond their years. Can't wait for kickoff!

Tee it up...that's how we'll all find out how well the staff has being doing the job. No question the program had problems in Coach Brandon's last couple years that led to issues for Coach Clawson in his first two seasons. Year 3...the program is almost all his now. The guy was Div 1-AA COTY TWICE so that tells me he knows a thing or two about coaching winning football.

I'm jacked as well...33 days to go.

Ok , so no excuses this year !! You heard it from DC, Bookmark this article and keep it through the entire season . This means that we dont have to hear any excuses if we dont win games.. If someone gives the "we are so young excuse" I will puke.. We had to hear that garbage last season and I have a feeling we may start to hear it again if we lose a few games.. No excuses this year , Clawson has never felt better about the team...

"never felling better" about the program does not mean clawson has full confidence. It tells me he likes the direction the program is going and I concur. Your (notice the correct usage here) post indicated that clawson guaranteed wins: It didn't.

I don't see a winning season this year but I still like the program being built. And BG is a young team whether you want to believe it or not. It's just facts. Don't let those cloud your (notice the correct usage) disdain.
