I heard that too, from my confidential sources. I hear he is getting his new gatorade towel tomorrow. I guess its a little different than being a star player, but oh well, at least he's on the travel squad.

Not you. I was referring to the above comments, which I think 87 was too.

Van Johnson

Post by SuperFan_FutureGrad »

Glad to hear Van isn't leaving for another school. Might be possible to see him at the receiver position next year, as he played both QB and WR during his redshirt year. From what I hear, he has a lot of talent at both. Since we are set at the QB position with Omar and Turner, with some holes opening up at the receiver position, it could be possible we see him there.

Thanks for the welcome FalconFreak. I already do love this place - I've been reading just about everything on the Football Forum for the past few weeks, before realizing I could join for free (money is tight in college 8) ). I love the football program though and have many friends on the team, so I hope I can both learn from and contribute to this site, among fellow falcon fanatics of course!

I was wondering why BG didn't red shirt Washington his Freshman year? Was he really needed or was it a waste of his 1st year?

He was only at BG for one year after starting his college career at a JC in Calif. Only reason that I think BG wanted him was just as some insurance in case Jacobs struggled this year. Well, Jacobs didn't struggle so Washington had no future at BG. Good luck to him at Montana.

Wow, Montana will be quite a change. I actually almost went to school in Montana but that was for skiing reasons mainly. It is a beasutiful state.
