We tried to get into the Stroh after the game to look around...locked doors everywhere.

The "game day experience" at the Doyt isn't perfect by any stretch...but the facility has come a looooong way in the last 8-10 years.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Not sure how much of it you wanted to see, but the doors were open to get into the team shop at the southeast corner....

I saw there is also a home volleyball game on homecoming Saturday (at 7pm) so those looking to still see the Stroh Center can do that while taking in a volleyball match after the football game

May be there will b a promotion-- show your football ticket get a discount on volleyball tixs. or since I bought season VB tickets they might even b free.......but don't quote me.
Another BiG crowd at VB would b nice.....seems they have a good record.

The prices aren't worth paying, especially with the wait. I've been eating across the street, skipping the tents, stadium food, wait, poor quality, high prices, limited selections, etc.

What I found amazing were the lines for tickets. I walked up with Vicki to the west side, the lines were massive. Hundreds of people, snaking lines. So I walked to the east side and there were no lines. Having sat up on the top of the west side stands, I noticed people were still waiting for tickets at the end of the 1st quarter.

Now how hard could it be, to perhaps mention to the disgruntled crowds, that there was no waiting on the east side? I might suggest somebody consider checking on that in the future, give people a heads-up.

I think people want to see the entire building - or at least the house area of the building. Personally - I was disappointed in the product selection at the Team Shop. But then again I am a bit past t-shirts, hoodies, and caps.

The product mix is lacking. They seem to do well in terms of traffic though. And it works having it there not just for sporting events, but the folks in BG for admissions, random folks coming through town, etc.

I was fairly impressed with the team. The online store is another matter.... absolutely awful.

No pop?? Then what do you mix the rum in your flask with?? After the blocked xtra point, I'm sure none of us wanted any mixer.

The game day experience is really poor. Its another sign that our AD is clearly overwhelmed with running a D1 program. Most of the issues described here would not take a great deal of cash, just attention to detail. Becoming a top flight program starts with the little things.
