::Roll Call:: Bowling Green vs. West Virginia

Post by 13wvu13 »

Where are your seats located at MPS (Milan Puskar Stadium)?
Where are you planning on tailgating?

General Question:
How many BG fans will be in Morgantown this weekend?

Section 134, directly below the large scoreboard
Will be tailgating in the Coliseum parking lot (Free)

I lived in Shelbyville and Hope Indiana for a few years and still have a lot of good friends out your way.
Look forward to meeting a few of you and hope you all have safe travels.

Let's Go Mountaineers!

13wvu13 - I think there will be a strong showing of parents and family members making the trip. I know we are looking forward to this venue and a good matchup.

Our seats in Section 99 and WVU reduced the number of tickets the players receive so not sure how that will affect our numbers. I know when I talked with the ticket office on Monday the only seats were in the upper section of 222.

We are looking for a hospitable tailgate area and appreciate the invite! How is the best way to get there and how will we find you?

There are several places to tailgate near the game. You can pay $0-$60 depending on proximity to the stadium for a single car space. My family and I tailgate in the Coliseum parking lot. They allow free parking for passenger vehicles and a shuttle (school bus) to the game for $4 round trip. I've tailgated at pretty much every location near the stadium, and spots get increasingly rowdy the closer you get. The Coliseum allows for a calmer (note: not dead) atmosphere; more family friendly. Often times most visiting fans choose the Coliseum because it is easy to find and it's FREE!

The best way to get to Morgantown from Bowling Green:
I travel to Michigan to see my in-laws at least 4 times a year, so I'm decently familar with the route.
I would suggest the the path of least resistance: I-80
We normally get off of 80 in Maumee so I anticipate about 5 hrs 30 mins depending on when you hit Pittsburgh and Morgantown.
I-80 East --> I-76 E(PA Turnpike) --> I-79 S (past Pittsburgh) --> WV Exit 155 --> Left off of the exit stay straight for 3 stop lights (you'll pass a sheetz and go over a bridge) --> You'll then pass Dick Dilesk Soccer Field on your right and you should see the Coliseum on your right as well. Stay in the right lane and turn in at the light.

The best way to find me:
The Coliseum operates on a first come-first serve basis so you never know where you will be parking from week to week. Although, you will not have a hard time finding a spot.
I'll be in #7 WVU Pro-Combat jersey probably around the 4th or 5th row of vehicles on the right as you enter the main thoroughfare of the Coliseum. If I'm not there, I'll be in the front RV lot closest to the main road second row of RVs.
Caution: There will be alcohol and probably some crude language...and if you lose at cornhole you have to turkey-chug(shotgun) a beer.

Other than that, Welcome!

For those of you coming from the Cleveland area, you might be able to avoid all tolls by going I-77 south to Route 250. 250 intersects I-70 just inside West Virginia.
ROLL ALONG!!!
