Pick the MAC, week 13!

Eastern Michigan at Northern Illinois, 11:00 am
Bowling Green at Buffalo, noon
Kent State at Temple, noon
Akron at Western Michigan, 1:00
Toledo at Ball State, 2:00

And my picks ...
Northern Illinois. EMU finishes 6-6 for the best season in a long, long time but still isn't bowl eligible. If they continue improving they will make some good noise next year.
Bowling Green. Yeah, our only two backs are Pettigrew and Geiger, but I think they get the job done. We saw vs Ohio that Geiger is capable, and I just have the feeling that Pettigrew has a breakout moment on Friday en route to a stunning senior year next year. BG wins and completes a season with a three game turnaround over last year and enters 2012 as a top level east contender.
Temple. Kent has played well recently and has some confidence going into next season, but they're not beating Temple.
Western Michigan. It's easy picking games when Akron is involved.
Ball State. Yeah I know, this is kind of out of left field, but Ball State has had some good moments this year. They're more than capable of beating UT. I say they get the job done and enter next season with a ton of momentum. This would also make BSU bowl eligible.

Kent State at Temple: Owls are too physical for the Flashes

Akron at Western Michigan: Ianello's unannounced farewell tour ends in a huge fireball. I expect the Broncos to win by 40.

Toledo at Ball State: A few weeks ago, I would've picked the spRockets in walk. I think they are more than capable of winning this, but I'm rooting for Testicle Tech.

Kent State at Temple - Temple...second easiest call of the group

Akron at Western Michigan - WMU...easiest call of the group

Toledo at Ball State - Toledo...most painful call of the group

Well this is it, maybe a few correct picks away from repeating. Deep breath, here goes.

Eastern Michigan at Northern Illinois, 11:00 am - Northern Illinois - Easy call, NIU destroys EMU to clinch a date with the Bobcats in the MACC.
Bowling Green at Buffalo, noon - Bowling Green - This one makes me nervous because Warthog is going with UB and I need to beat him, but sticking with BGSU to win this battle of suck.
Kent State at Temple, noon - Temple - I could see Kent pulling this one out as they've been playing well lately, but Temple is far more talented. They win at home.
Akron at Western Michigan, 1:00 - Western Michigan - I think Mount Union would beat Akron by 3-4 scores, maybe Baldwin-Wallace could beat em too.
Toledo at Ball State, 2:00 - Ball State - Realizing they no longer have anything to play for because of NIU's win, Toledo lays down and pouts. Ball State big.
