Phil Steele's Preview now out...

Picked up my copy at Giant Falcon this AM after work. Phil shows BG some serious love this year, calling for BG to finish in a 3 way tie atop the East (with OU and Miami) and playing La Tech in the Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise. Phil has WMU winning the West followed by NIU and tsun. He also gives individual shout outs to Alex Bayer, Brian Schmeidbusch, Boo Boo Gates and Chris Jones on the national front and has the Falcons ranked #51 to start the year. In addition, he has BG rated as one of him most improved teams for 2012. Other schools...Ohio is #31 (Phil states he has them rated this high due to a pretty weak schedule), WMU #42 and NIU #46. Phil has Florida #12 (ranks UF's D the SECOND best in the nation) and Va Tech @#24.

I highly suggest picking up a copy for a measly $8.95 for 344 pages with tons of info...Phil just keeps getting it right.

Steele def seems to like us this year...a number of units (LB, DL and most importantly OL,) were called the "best during Clawson's tenure. I really think this season is going to go a long way towards making up for the frustrations of last year
