Jarius Campbell was a beast....that's a R-SO DT who stands 6-5 and weighs @300 lbs and can bench 440lbs. Not used to seeing guys like that in our uniform...
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

The FLA fans are great and gave a lot of compliments to us as we left. ROLL ALONG!!!
Flip,
Absolutely on Campbell...we were right near field level and he towered over most of the FLA O line. He and Jones are gonna make life miserable for opposing O lines this year.

Just a caution on the defense though. It could be a different story when we play teams that can pass. Florida was a one dimensional opponent.
And did we really need to be told 25 times that Joplin and Schilz are roommates...lol
Also, seems to me that Joplin is going to be one of those frustrating receivers who makes great catches but drops the routine ones.

I'm still more confident in our secondary than our run defense. Plus outside of Va Tech. we aren't going to see an offensive line like that again this season.Redwingtom wrote:Just a caution on the defense though. Re: Freakin Proud!!!
This has been the first chance I have had to get on here to talk about the game.
WOW was I impressed with what I saw from our Boys in White (How AWESOME was that look, by the way?). I couldn't be more proud of the fight they put up against a tough team to play at home no matter what their record is. I am so amped for the Idaho game this week, you don't even know! I can't wait to see everyone at the tailgate. Bob "Blanche" Dupont and I should be rolling into town around 3-3:30 and will be ready to share some brewskis with the best fans in the land! Let's Go Falcons! BEAT IDAHO!

That was an impressive effort by the Falcons. I gotta say, I didn't expect the game to be that close.
I hope those of you who went to the game had a good time.

Re: Freakin Proud!!!
Actually after watching the game again I really only saw one time where it looked like he dropped a pass in anticipation of being hit. A couple of them were caused by him trying to make a play before he actually had it. Hoping this fuels his fire. We need all of this corrected this week before we take on UT.Falconfreak90 wrote:Good point, Dog.kdog27 wrote:Charles Sharon started his career out that way for us.
