Per BGSU athletics on facebook...he could play against OU
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: Game Thread - Eagles
Great to hear about Givens being ok.
At the begginning of the year I was worried one or two of the 5 tailbacks would get dis-enchanted and transfer after this year. There are simply not enough carries to spread around. However, between injuries and the change in offensive philosophy (toward the running game), all 5 guys are getting reps. Now I'm more worried about losing a receiver or two to transfers, but no that much.
I love the way all our backs are finishing runs. Givens TD run was a great example. He could have easily stepped out of bounds but instead bulldozed his way back in and then forced his way across the goal line.

Bad teams don't win five games in a row so they are clearly pretty good. I'm not sure the offense scares anyone despite the weapons. If we are going to be a defensive team and solid running team maybe a running qb fits that a little more. I didn't watch much of the game due to a family party. But what I saw I don't think he effected much of the game. There is something to be said abOut being a good game manager who makes few mistakes though.

Can anyone explain the lack of students there? If I had to guess there were less than 200 and that numbered dwindled throughout the game.
As good as they were the 1st 3 home games, they were pathetic yesterday.

I was wondering the same thing. It was an awful showing (but thanks to those who came out). Even EMU had a group of student who made the trip down and that is saying something for a one-win team that averages an "actual" home attendance of about 2,500 total fans per home game. This team deserves way better than that. They are 4-0 at home, have won five games in a row and are in a MAC title race. Get your @sses out there for Kent State!Falcon137 wrote:Can anyone explain the lack of students there? If I had to guess there were less than 200 and that numbered dwindled throughout the game.
