Alumni tailgate at bowl game question

I received an email from the alumni organization with details about the 25.00 tailgate. It said there would be a heated tent in the alley by the armory. It listed menu items like pulled pork and burgers and indicated soft drinks would be available. There was no mention of beer for sale. This would make tailgating easier but I do want to be able to enjoy a few pre-game beers. Does anyone know if they will be selling beer in the tent? I'm also a bit confused about the setup. It mentions activities inside the armory as well. Sounds as if to me the tent opens at 11:00am. Anyone have any details to help clarify this tailgate event?

Got an answer to my own question be emailing Doreen at the Alumni Office. Cash bar available in the alumni tent! I'm waiting for her to confirm start time... 11:00 or 1:00

Just received this email from the Alumni Office about the details of the tailgate:

"Armory Alley and our tent opens at 11am with all the display of the military equipment...From 11am till 1pm we will have Coffee and Hot Chocolate available. At 1pm till 3pm we will have the tailgate buffet open for our fans. BGSU band will play at 2pm and the cheerleaders will also be there to cheer. It will be a great game day atmosphere and we are looking forward to a Falcon Filled Day. The heated tent is a plus as we may never predict the weather in December."

Add a cash bar and since I'm taking the Metro from my hotel I think for me this will be easier than trying to tailgate. I spend over $25.00 when I tailgate at The Doyt so It's a pretty good deal!

My son who lives in Alexandria, (and an ex Army guy) said the armory is right next door to the stadium, anticipates they'll move some equipment (copters etc.) into the parking lot areas...Don't know where the BG alum tent will be, but not sure I want to toss out $25 per person when I'm bringing about 10-12 of my kids and grandkids along to the game. Some of these alum tent things in the past have not been worth $10 IMO, much less $25.
