Well folks, in light of the storm I decided to make the trek today instead of tomorrow. We did family Christmas a couple of days ago and then extended family Christmas this morning, so I got to see everyone I care about.

For folks who are traveling tomorrow ... be very careful in this storm. It's not just the storm, it's the hills. I take 70 to 79 S in Washington Pennsylvania to 68 E in Morgantown WV to 70 E in Hancock MD. This avoids crappy PA highways and the toll on 70. The hills on 68 can be pretty treacherous. Be very, very careful, especially of those around you. Take your time.

We're driving a 3/4T pickup with big tires. I'm not worried as much about us, but about the other people, traffic, accidents, etc.... I know it's going to slow us down. Wish we could have left tonight!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Left Cleveland at 6am. Currently just west of Breezewood, PA- fairly nasty conditions as turnpike has accumulation and the snow is coming down.

We'll get there in one piece. Gonna take longer than I thought but that's how it goes.

By Thur AM should be all rain, according to the Weather Channel, north of DC and then cloudy. There are some ocean currents that will push this storm into upstate NY by Thur AM. We will go as far as we can today and do the rest tomorrow. If we cannot get in the lots until 11AM, well, that gives us more time.

GO FALCONS!!!

We arrived about 1230 pm today (Wed). Decided to leave last night about 6pm. Stopped East of Cumberland. Woke up with a nice blanket of snow.

Driving through the Cumberland was slow-going.

Staying in College Park MD.

Just rain in the Greater D.C. area as of now.

Be safe. It is only football and a game.

You will be missed. It would be very difficult to get here based upon what we went through in the mountains.

It is still raining in greater D.C area.

Do you have Skype?

No, but I'm sure I can download it on my laptop. Let me check into it! Are you going to use your phone or laptop to skype? I just checked and can download it to my phone.
