Football Adds Another

I just heard about this, but we have added Isaiah Gourdine out of Farmington High School in Michigan.

On ESPN, he is listed as an ATH (2*) and is ranked the 35th best player in the state. He is 6-2 and from the video below, he seems very athletic.

Scout.com lists him as Safety and have him as a 3* prospect. He had offers from Iowa, Indiana and San Diego State to name a few and was committed to Cincy before the coaching change. Its actually pretty interesting and you can find some articles online about how Tuberville has yanked scholarships from their recruits without even telling them.

From the highlight tape he looks like he plays our rover position as he is close to the line of scrimmage but also lines up in the safety position and also drops back in coverage at times. Due to the fact that he seems very athletic, I could see him fitting that rover position very well.

Overall, I think this class is pretty good and I think we have some special players in the making. Clawson has done a really good job recruiting since he has been here in my opinion.

Not to be a dick...yeah, I know.... I laughed when I typed that....we do have an entire forum devoted to recruiting. I am stoked to get Gourdine. He had B1G offers...hopefully we keep him in the fold.
