Football Scoop has announced thatCoach Dowdle has accepted the position of Ast. AD @ Kansas St. Congrats to the coach.

That was announced a week or so ago and many of us received a letter today.

Technically he's only the football operations guy and not an on-field coach, but from everything I heard he was highly valued. The AD at Kansas State was at Tennessee when he was there with Fulmer.

I've met the guy on a few occasions. Great, great guy and a valuable man for any program.
