Charlie Walker injury
Charlie Walker injury
Staring DE Charlie Walker went down early with some sort of a leg injury and later was seen on crutches with a large brace on his leg. Anyone know if it's serious?

That is a big loss...I don't know the extent of the injury yet but man, thank goodness we have Ronnie Goble cuz RG is a valuable player. I hope Walker can get back soon cuz he and Thomas make great book ends on the DL.

Re: Charlie Walker injury
Kendall Montgomery made some nice plays last night...he did a great job following the ball. They showed a replay of him backing out of a pass rush to cover the screen to the sideline...if you have a 270lb DE who can do that you open up all kinds of blitz possibilities.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Looked serious.. full leg air cast & crutches. Hoping it was just pre-cautionary

Good point Flip...Montgomery is becoming a force and his name was called a few times last night.
