Northern Illinois Beat Iowa - Undefeated Rest Reg. Season???

Post by ZuluWarrior »

Nice win, and I'm rooting for all MAC team in the noncon games, even the Turds, but NIU has a REALLY soft schedule the rest of the way. Their game at Toledo is really the only tough one. The MAC season is going to be very interesting and I'm looking forward to OU and Louisville tomorrow.

Nice win for them. They will be tough to beat for anyone in the MAC.

Wouldn't say @Purdue, @Kent, @Toledo and vs. Ball State is REALLY soft. But they can certainly do it, as proved by today's win.

Was listening to the IOWA announcers via satellite radio...Unbelievable "homers" even compared to some others I've heard (like the Akron guy)...but the couldn't say enough about Jordan Lynch, though even then, they complained that he was "falling forward" and getting favorable spots etc. Score at that time was Iowa up by 7...didn't hear the rest as we were at a family affair at my daughter's house.

It's a long season...great win for NIU but they will have some battles this year.
