Get on board The Houston Train
How bout that Houston Hat-trick! As one of the old guys on this board, let me say I had a great time at the Doyt on Thurs night, bathing in the Karma which helped erase some painful memories from Mobile a few years back. It wuddn't 63 points, but it still felt pretty good. Was very impressed with Mr Houston, wearing Jim Brown's number, and running like Stew Williams. Like I said, I'm an old guy--but if you remember ol' Stew Williams luggin' the leather at the old University Stadium, you know whatI'mtalkinbout!

Wow! You're on the board for 5 years with 22 posts and today you pull out the Stew Williams and University Stadium references? Nicely done!falconmondo wrote:How bout that Houston Hat-trick! Old Guy, sleeper cell. Just retired. Didn't have a lot of time to post whilst working. Plus, we old guys have a steep learning curve on the tech stuff. That's why I aint got an avatar, but I'm working on scanning my Russ Hepner card and putting it on there!
P.S. Do you remember Willard Wankelman?

The kid who lives across the hall from me played with Houston in high school so we walked to class together one day. Let's just say I'm glad he's on our team. Kid's a tank.

I was wishing he was at the Doyt Thursday night when they had trouble with the play clock. The ol' art perfesser would've sorted it out.factman wrote:The OFFICIAL electronic clock operator with Jim Hof on the microphone, if I remember correctly.
