Great play!!

BTW ... Houston is obviously our short yard guy this year. I gotta wonder if he is going to become a more multipurpose back in future seasons. Once he gets an entire spring and summer in with us I could see him as the conference's most dangerous back.

Does anyone know what the school record for team rushing yards in a game is? I gotta think if the second half game plan is to run the ball and kill the clock then knowing that record could become quickly relevant.

Part of the Falcons' charm is the fact that they take care of business against FCS teams (for the past 25 years, anyway). Good solid effort today. Hard to complain about this result.

Didn't get to see much because I had to win but it's always nice to get an easy win and fill up the stat sheets.

3-1 with a loss last week is where I originally thought we would be.

Glad to see Houston get us some breathing room there. Wonder why they don't use him more, like the 3rd and 2 we had early.
Listening to the radio while at the game, our guys said they thought he'd been "cut blocked" and verified what you said re: pointing at someone on their O line. Saw him having long talk with a trainer...who kept pointing to flexing a knee etc.

My only problem with Knapke is that by the time Johnson graduates, Knapke will have one year left.

Sure, it was against a double A team that was already whipped, but Knapke looked pretty impressive. Made some throws on the run, showed good accuracy, looked poised. I was impressed. If the Mississippi state game looks like the Indiana game, if like to see him play more.

Knapke will give Johnson serious competition next year and could even win the starting job.
