Protect The Rock

Post by VDub26Falcon »

It sounds like every night this week there have been groups of people protecting the rock as we build up to the game against Turdledo. I'm thinking about going up on Friday night to help out!

I have some good memories of protecting the rock and also harassing the slUT campus. I will be talking about this website to see if any of them have been on here. School Spirit seems to be higher than I can ever remember right now and there are some people that are definitely the reason behind it.

The Falcon Fanatics (@FalconFanatics1 on Twitter) talk BG Athletics whenever they can and it seems like Sic Sic is really busting their butts this year as well!

I am so pumped for this game and cannot wait to see all the Orange and Brown in the Doyt this weekend! #PackTheDoyt, #BeatToledo and #RollAlong!!!

I remember protecting the rock in 05. A few of their students tried to paint it ... didn't quite turn out that way for them! :D

If you've seen Chris Kingston at a game (volleyball, soccer, football), you can tell he is having a good time. He has committed resources (or found someone to commit resources) to the Falcon Fanatics.

I think Factman was .......Factman was corr.....I liked what Factman said when he said that Kingston could bring in an "esprit de corps" to the department.

Reports are that the Blew Crew came in with a bucket of tar, got somewhere between 4%-8% of the rock covered with some tar but also got about 100% of a girl's face with it. Extremely classy there, Cockets.

Interesting that there's no photographic evidence to support any of this....

I did some digging.

This guy got tar in the face: https://twitter.com/LuckySwantucky

Apparently this is the rock last night. https://twitter.com/FalconFanatics1/sta ... 87/photo/1

Why would you throw tar? Isn't the point to pain the rock, not tar and feather it? Oh, and apparently they dumped paint all over the Air Force ROTC thing.

Check out the @FalconFanatics1 twitter handle. I believe there was a picture added of BG students with the rock after adding feathers to the tar.
