Our criticism was still warranted IMO, we underachieved through 8 games this year. Most of us were very upset because we knew we had the talent to play like we have the last 4 games.
This. This. This.

Good Lord, people, you DO realize this is the first big game this coaching staff has won in five years, right? We've had a lot of heart break in the past several years, and during the last two, we've seen what we felt was a lot of under achieving by the talent that had been assembled.

I think what the team has done the past four games pretty much shows we were right to be unhappy!

If this team had played (and coached) like this the whole season, I'm not sure they would have lost a game. All any of us wanted to see was the talent playing up to its capabilities. I think we knew if that happened, BG would get to the title game and at least have a shot at winning it.

And here we are.

Why anyone would be ticked off that fans might be passionate about their team not living up to expectations is a bit confusing. I don't think there's anyone who honestly believes that Toledo has a better football team than BG this year, and yet BG lost to the Rockets again -- at home. Let's not forget that it was following this disappointment that a lot of people were venting their frustrations.

And based on how this team is finishing, it would appear the fans were right to be upset. It looks to me like the TEAM was upset with itself after that game, and decided to do something about it.

Now enough of this nonsense: Go Falcons, Beat NIU!

To be fair, there's not much else going on. Someone passes gas at a school board budget meeting and it warrants a 4 part series and I-Team investigation.

I think this is a great thing. I think there should be more give and take with the media and this website. We should support them and we are the easiest way for them to get the pulse of the fan base. I think it would be a great idea to post every single article that comes out of the Blade, Sentinel and BGs website.

Watch out for the Blade. They'll go after you for copyright infringement. They want you to pay to view their articles on their website.

They once sued a DJ up in Toledo for "theft of news". Mind you..they hadn't contacted him and advised him to cease and desist with respect to whatever they viewed as copyrighted material...they just sued him.

Of course his slogan used to be something like "I read the Blade so you don't have to " so they might have been itching for a fight.

As long as you post the link you should be cool I would assume. I have not went to read the blade in years and have just started thinking about doing so because of following Carle on Twitter. They should embrace us here.

The Blade doesn't embrace anyone....they are a pay site now after you view something like 10 articles per month

Thats Cray. I won't post any parts of their articles in here. Just links. And people are unlikely to follow the links.
