At this stage of the game, it'd be hard to believe that guys like Burbrink, Houston,Love,Givens, Pohlman, Hager, Cairo, and Royster are still walk ons...They're getting too much P.T. for that to still be in effect.. Love is a Sr. or RS-JR. who was introd at the last home game...so, if he was still a walkon w/o a scholarship, I'd say he was super loyal. Cohen was a JC transfer IIRC and would've been on scholarship too...don't usually RS JC kids, though it has happened in a few cases...but he was getting P.T. and would've been starting after Chris Gallon went down, until he followed suit. As to the rest, i'm not sure anyone knows the status, but some of these kids were recruited, not walk ons.

Some were preferred walkons like Burbrink, Houston, Pohlman (like Joplin & Truss before them). I'm almost certain Burbrink and Pohlman have schollies. Houston will if not already. Royster, Cairo, Osborne played some the last two years and Bush and Mack played some this year. Of them I would say Royster must have one and then maybe Osborne. I think Givens, Jackson and Cohen each have one but I do not think they were walk-ons...not certain of that either.

The only one I'm certain of is Pohlman. I wish someone would cover the players more. I always like to hear the stories of walk-ons, especially those that stick with us.

Agree.

So if we know for certain Pohlman is then that's 80 of the 85 scholarships accounted for, for 2014. I assume Burbrink, Royster and Cairo all have them but don't want to put them in yet. If Love is graduating then it doesn't really matter for him to add or subtract.
