And the black warm up pants for guys that don't dress for the game would look a lot better in brown

Other than financials, this is the main reason for the switch to Nike. My guess is next fall you won't see our athletic teams wearing any black.

Don't get too excited, because I am hearing that Nike does not have "BROWN" in many of the accessories either. Guess we will just have to wait and see, but initial meeting with some of equipment people did not go well, as far as BROWN is concerned.

Seriously, after that win you find time to complain about.....socks????

I say don't change them! Maybe not even wash them! They work.

Complain about containing the cutback, pooch kicking, firing the cannon after a missed extra ppoint....but apparel? No tailgate brats for you!
There is no other way to finish a season other than yelling at the top of your lungs among BG's players holding the Peace Pipe aloft!

If that's indeed true, I'm truly surprised. Nike does the NFL thus the Browns. I'll check with my son as he is constantly ordering unis, gear etc for Hudson lacrosse. In fact he's the one who originally told me that brown was NOT a primary color with Adidas. Hard to believe that Chris Kingston would get " suckered" into a deal like this when I know he told me a yr. ago that we'd be looking for a new supplier if Adidas wouldn't cooperate. :-k

Although watching the Purdue/Notre Dame game I thought the Notre Dame shoes looked like Timberland boots on the players (mid eighties frat brothers).

Maybe that is why they had trouble with Purdue in the first half? :drinkers:

I agree, Pete. 1987 called, they want their boots back. Now I digress, neither ND nor that team down south would ever run up the score on a B10 team or another P5 conference like that team down south did to KSU. It makes their own favorite power opponents look bad. It's in their best interest to screw the little guy on national tv.

Don't kid yourself. Mrs. Meyer's husband will run up the score on any team he can.

I did not, in any way, shape or form, call and ask for my boots back.
