Baylor scored 3 TDs last week in 5 minutes. We only need 2 TDs

You have a QB that can't throw accurately in an offense that relies heavily on accurate passes to moving WR....you might have a slim chance with the freshman QB...you have no chance with Knapke out there
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

The play calling today has been poor, at best. That said, we still have a ray of hope. The D has played well today an that's a shame.

It's a fumble. Came out just a few inches before his knee went down

You have 16 days to Akron, I'd give Callaway first team reps in practice.

I agree with you to a point. Knapke is off his game today,. Also, pretty clearly, he is still our No. 2 quarterback. He isn't as accurate as Johnson.

Today he tried his best. He was a gamer today. But he didn't have what we needed to beat Western Michigan. That's why we lost. Dino and his team called some good plays. The offense couldn't execute.

Where I disagree is on Calloway. The coaches have seen Calloway in practice all week. They know better than we do whether than Calloway is ready to step in there. They decided he wasn't ready, and that a gimpy Knapke was better than going with the No. 3 guy. I have to respect that decision. I won't second guess that.

4th down, coming out of a timeout, and you have too many guys on the field. Wow.

Wow. Did the BCSN color guy just invoke the image of a "Chinese fire drill"?

That's offensive.

Knapke played poorly last week also, and was mediocre against Buffalo.

Shilz was better than MJ in practice last summer. That didn't translate to the games.

Babers doesn't give the backup any reps in practice so throwing Callaway in would've been a disaster. You can't go into games only having one QB ready and assume it's going to work out for the best. It's obvious Knapke was hurt and as a result the offense completely collapsed. It's a learning experience for Babers.

We got it handed to us right on our home field today. WMU has now beaten us four in a row. They just came in here and did what they wanted to today. After our opening drive it was ALL them. Our luck finally ran out and our deficiencies caught up with us. Now we get to sit on this loss for two and a half weeks.

I'll second guess the decision to leave Knapke in there all day every day...he's struggling and he's been struggling. SO Callaway struggles...does it matter who goes three and out?

If Akron wins then BG likely has to win out to get to Detroit. Not sure I see that happening as things stand.

I'm sorry, but at this point in his career, that shouldn't be the case. This is just one of those head scratchers that, again, makes me wonder about this coaching staff.
