Question About Jacobs

Post by JuicyJ »

I thought I saw him walking around with crutches this past weekend and a boot on his left foot. I was just wondering what happend to him and if anyone had any information about this.

One by one he's having a surgery to make his legs bionic. If all goes well, they'll work on his arm next month, so he'll be ready for spring ball.

Don't be startled when next year's game program lists #4 as a "Steve Austin".

I believe it was stated earlier that he had surgery on his toe that he broke in I believe the Toledo game. Not sure which toe, but it doesn't sound to serious.

I work at the Union and the team spends a lot of time there, Jacobs included. Some days he has it on, some days not, and when he doesn't have it on, he walks around just fine, so it seems. I actually haven't noticed it switching feet, but I wasn't exactly looking for it. If I see him, I'll ask him about it.

He had the same injury to BOTH feet at different times in the season, and had one repaired a couple weeks ago and is just having the other done.

It is a broken toe, as I mentioned in a previous discussion thread, but I was incorrect about it being the Toledo game - he broke the toe in the Ohio game.

Makes his incredible year seem that much more incredible, since he was working on a wounded foot!

he's in one of my classes... he was in class this morning without the boot on and seemed to be walking with a bit of a limp. he wasn't on crutches and didn't have the boot on, so i doubt it is anything serious.
