Forecast calling for 93 and humid with a very slight chance of a thunderstorm on Saturday.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

That's about exactly what it was like for our opener at Florida a couple years ago in The Swamp. By half time the east side (sun on it the entire game) of the stadium was about half empty because even the home crowd was bailing out due to the heat and humidity.

I get a chuckle when I hear people in Ohio complaining about the humidity in the summer. Try living in the south and you'll quickly find out what real humidity is. Of course, on the flipside, I also was amused by my fellow Southerners who complained about the "cold" and a little snow. I found myself thinking I could only wish that we had this mild of the winter back in Ohio.

But ours guys better be hydrating hard all week long. This isn't something you try to do right before you leave to play in those kind of conditions. I'm very confident our strength and conditioning staff is implementing this.

Here in Ohio it is supposed to be 90+ almost all week....so we'll have a good idea. You're right about the Florida game, 33. THEE hottest game I've ever been to and I drank 8 bottle of water and 8 gatorades throughout the day. I cannot imagine how freakin hot it was to play the game.

Yes. Middle Tennessee has egregiously uncomfortable weather in the summer because of the high heat and high humidity. If you are not accustomed to it, it can make you feel sick---especially if you have been consuming a lot of alcohol because the alcohol inhibits the functioning of the body's natural cooling system. The players on both sides will get the worst of it. We have had a cool and not very humid August here in Tennessee, so this will be just about as new to our players as it will the BGSU players. Bring Gatorade as your mixer.
