Purdue Blogger Not Optimistic

Post by Rollo83 »

Site Manager at the Purdue blog, Hammer and Rails doesn't think the Boilermakers will make this a game. Interesting takes on Hazell.

"Who knows with John Shoop. The guy is an idiot. During the game on Saturday I said that if he were in charge of the pregame flyover the jets would have crashed into the scoreboard".

Ouch. Funny as hell but that has to hurt for the Boiler faithful. If this guy thinks we can put up 70 on them, who am I to question that?

That's hilarious. Shoop was a pro-style guy who recently converted to the spread and it's always tough when a coach attempts something they're unfamiliar with. Texas had a pro-style offensive coordinator attempt to switch to the spread over the off-season and they took the play calling away from him after one game.
