Gameday warns BG vs UB
Gameday warns BG vs UB
Did anyone catch Gameday this morning? I had it on but was in the other room and overheard them saying something about Buffalo over Bowling Green. Did anyone else hear that?
GO BG!!!

Herbie picked Buffalo as his upset of day.

Somebody should send him a cupcake.

To his credit, his pick was pretty close to possibly happening at the end. If we don't get that third down conversion and with the way they were moving the ball on us and scoring in the second half it could have happened. But he did pump us up on Gameday before the Tennessee game.
And speaking of Tennessee, our blowout loss to them is starting to look bad as they now have a losing record. But each of their losses have been heartbreakers.

An early season MAC vs MAC game that is relevant enough to mention on Gameday. That's not all bad. Glad he noticed and even happier he was wrong. The respect he gave BG is that he thought BG losing was an upset.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Don't forget he picked bg over Pitt when we opened the season. I think his exact words were "I'm picking the high-flying bg Falcons".

A lot of what ESPN / College Gameday is doing is starting to revolve around Vegas and betting lines. Herbie picking Buffalo made sense when you consider, BG was playing their 4th road game in 5 weeks, the game was going to be played in sloppy conditions, and Buffalo is not a bad team.
If you took Buffalo +8.5....you were very happy, Saturday. I have 0 problems with gambling. But, does anyone else find it strange that a Disney owned company is now so open about gambling? Especially for college games. I guess when you run a million Draft Kings and Fan Duel commercials every week it doesn't matter.

Disney is run by the Illuminati...gambling is a huge profit center for them.

A majority of folks who watch college/NFL football are gamblers and fantasy players. ESPN has recently jumped aboard that train because the younger generation has really gravitated towards online gambling for sports. Sites like 5Dimes are based overseas and therefore are legal to gamble on here in the States without any repercussions.Falcon137 wrote:A lot of what ESPN / College Gameday is doing is starting to revolve around Vegas and betting lines. I know gambling is huge. And I know there really no stigma towards it anymore. I just find it interesting that Mickey Mouse is now in the business. I also think it also speaks to who is keeping cable and watching sports these days.

Yep, I'm sure Disney has done their homework in terms of who to cater to regarding picking the spreads on Gameday.Falcon137 wrote:jpfalcon09 wrote:A majority of folks who watch college/NFL football are gamblers and fantasy players.
