Watch Parties?

Post by MajorFalcon92 »

Any watch parties going on?

Haven't seen anything. Looks like it will be in my living-room.

I live in the Nati and haven't made plans yet. I was thinking probably just pizza at my house with a few alumni friends if they're available. I'm in the Clifton area.

Slightly worried the game won't even get played with all the storm activity in the forecast.

I'll be a the BWW in Oregon, OH if anyone lives around that area. Unfortunately the timing of this game makes it difficult to organize anything as tomorrow is a massive travel day.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.

The timing of this game blows. We couldn't even get 4 friends together to watch because we all had various other planning/meeting friends from out of town/etc going on for the holiday. I cannot imagine how poorly ticket sales must have gone. Who is going to pick up and travel for a bowl game the 23rd of December?

Part of the whole, "There are way too damned many bowl games" is that they shouldn't even start until after christmas, IMO. People who take time around the holidays take the week AFTER Christmas off. And of course there is the, now largely lost, tradition of so many games on New Year's.

We've got friends that are in town for a few days that are coming over that we haven't seen in a year, so we'll have the game on, but probably won't be watching real intently.

It is seriously bad timing on the date. The university and/or alumni office has done little to market this game IMO. I haven't seen much.

Looking at the weather report, I am glad we decided to stay home. The parade last night was cancelled.

You guys didn't even account for the fact that today is Festivus.

I'm not sure we'll be done with airing our grievances by game time.

Some of us are gathering at BDubs to watch tonight in BG. Feel free to join us!

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT GSU!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
